Exam time encourages photography skill in students!!

Exam Time!
Exam time is a very crucial time in a student's life. This is what shows a student's hard work that he put into his studies throughout the year/semester.
The tension and the frustration that a student goes through his/her examination season is a motivational factor which pushes him to capture some good photographs. The picture here was taken using a mobile phone in macro focus setting. The mobile phone camera was first focused on another object which was placed very near to the camera, and then the shutter button was released once the camera was moved to point to the subject in the picture(the pen on the book). This led to the blurring of the background making the intended subject the main focus in the picture.

I also recently created a watermark for my blog and thus used it in this photograph.

Rainy Days bring colors of Rainbow to our life

Pleasant weather is one of the many things that one would love in Bhopal. Other than that there are so many lakes(big and small) that one would leave the count after 10!
Frequent rain is a common allurement in this city.

One such day I saw a rainbow in the sky. It was well defined and displayed vibrant colors.

The focus was set to Infinity and White Balance set to Cloudy. The resultant picture is posted here.

New camera,better pics!

I have had the Nokia E71 for quite sometime, but a few months back I purchased a Nexus S phone. I still do not have a proper camera, but the pics that I clicked with this phone are good in quality. It has a 5 megapixels camera.
I have been using this phone for the past one month and I definitely love the pictures. I do miss the User Interface(UI) of Nokia, but I am a total Android fan!!
The picture attached with this post was clicked with the default settings on Nokia e71,except some changes made in the white-balance.

More Landscapes!

I clicked more photographs of the sunset with altered settings on my Nokia E71.
The results were good.

The first pic was captured in the very default mode with no changes in the settings. Even the zoom was kept to the default. I kept the sun in the centre part of the photograph.

Then I clicked another one by keeping the sun in the bottom part of the photo. The other settings were not changed.

I changed the "white balance" and got another picture which shows warmth of the sun. The color of the sky also changed because of that change in the setting. But this time, the sun was kept on a slightly right side on the bottom row.

After a few days, the rays of the sun were forming an amusing pattern on the sky with the help of the clouds, and they surely asked for attention. This one was clicked keeping all the settings intact, but zooming in a bit on the sun. This time the sun was on a very low section of the bottom part of the photograph.

Another photo clicked on the same date with a change in the white-balance,i.e. "Sunny". This helped in emphasizing the color of the sun. The electrical wires were to pose a threat to the photograph, but keeping the sun in between them has actually put on a border above and below the sun.

First clicks with my Nokia E71

I haven't yet got a decent camera to explore my photography interests, so I am using my Nokia E71!
These are the very first landscape pics I clicked with my mob-cam.

I clicked this one with the default settings, i.e. the "Auto" mode.

Then I tried changing the settings:

I altered the default settings to get a pinkish tinge for the sky at late hours of dusk. I used the night mode which brought out this awesome color of the night sky because of the sensitivity to light.

The quality of the picture is not great, because Nokia E71 has a meagre 3.2 Megapixel camera.
